Roasted Air Fryer Broccoli: Quick and Easy Veggie Snack
Whenever I crave a snack, my first thought isn’t chips or cookies, it’s roasted air fryer broccoli. As long as I have broccoli in the refrigerator, I make this because it’s so quick and easy to prepare in the air fryer. It’s a much healthier option compared to junk food.

My Go-To Snack: Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli
We make sure to include broccoli in our grocery list almost every week. It has become a staple in our weekly routine. This is because, in addition to being both nutritious and delicious, broccoli is also incredibly versatile in terms of how it can be prepared. Therefore, without further delay, let’s get cooking!
Ingredients
- 1 large broccoli head, cut into uniform florets
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
- Paprika, sprinkle
- Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
- Olive oil, as needed
Instructions
- Prepare Broccoli: Rinse the broccoli under cold running water and pat dry thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
- Slice Evenly: Cut the broccoli into uniform florets to ensure even cooking.
- Season: In a large mixing bowl, add the broccoli florets. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and grated Parmesan cheese. Use a spatula to mix well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated. Add more seasonings if needed.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 5 minutes.
- Air Fry: Place the seasoned broccoli in the air fryer basket, spreading them out in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
- Cook: Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, Shake the basket halfway through cooking time for even cooking.
- Serve: Once crispy and lightly golden, transfer the broccoli to a serving plate. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
You Can Use Other Vegetables Too
In addition to broccoli, other vegetables such as cauliflower, zucchini, eggplant, and many others can also be used. However, it should be noted that the cooking time and temperature may need to be adjusted, as different vegetables tend to cook at varying rates. Therefore, keeping an eye on the cooking process is important to prevent them from becoming overcooked or undercooked.
