Pork Chunks and Green Beans Recipe

This thick and saucy Pork Chunks and Green Beans dish combines tender pork cubes, green vegetables, pork stock, and a rich tomato paste. Perfect served over white rice for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork chunks or cubes
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) French-cut green beans
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups pork stock/broth
  • 1 pc onion, sliced
  • 1 pc orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a non-stick pan, melt the unsalted butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and orange bell pepper. Saute for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables begin to soften. Then, push them to the side of the pan.
  • Add the pork chunks to the cleared side of the pan. Brown them for about 5 minutes, then combine them with the sauteed vegetables.
  • Stir in the French-cut green beans, tomato paste, and pork stock. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix everything until well combined.
  • Cover the pan and let it cook for 15 minutes, or until the pork is tender and fully cooked.
  • Serve warm over a bed of white rice for a filling meal.
