No Meat Stir Fry Bean Sprouts

Easy and budget-friendly bean sprout stir fry.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 small yellow sweet pepper, julienned
  • 1 small red sweet pepper, julienned
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, ground
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or toyomansi

Instructions

  • Preheat the pan over medium heat.
  • Melt the butter.
  • Add the onion and saute for 3 minutes or until soft white.
  • Add the yellow and red sweet peppers. Saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add the green onions, garlic, and ginger. Stir for a minute.
  • Add the bean sprouts and lightly stir.
  • Then add the soy sauce or Toyomansi if available.
  • Stir for 5 minutes or until the bean sprouts are done.
  • Serve with your favorite vegetable or simply enjoy it by itself.
