Cabbage and Potatoes with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • 2 chopped potatoes
  • 1 lb mushrooms
  • 1/2 head, shredded cabbage

Instructions

  • Preheat pan in medium high heat.
  • Fry the bacon until brown.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Use the bacon grease to saute the onion and garlic for 3-5minutes or until the onion is translucent.
  • Then add the potatoes. Stir until they are half-cooked. Cover and stir once in a while to make sure they are not sticking to the pan.
  • Then, add the mushrooms and cabbage. Cover. Half-cook the cabbage.
  • Remove the cover and stir all together.
  • Then, toss in the bacon. Mix well.
  • Cover. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the veggies are cooked.
